DETAILED INFORMATION
The Purohit Pipe Industries is an ISO-certified Exporter of carbon steel forged flanges in India. We offer them in a wide range of sizes and specifications, using high-quality raw materials that are tested by our experts.
When fastened to a pipe, carbon steel plate flanges form a rim. Pipelines, valves, and other connections are sealed with it. For easy installation, it comes with a raised face and backups with high tensile strength. Approximately 2.1 wt.% of its carbon comes from iron-carbon alloys. Manganese is often present in carbon steel, even though it does not meet the minimum alloying element content requirements.
Flanges made from carbon steel are essentially rings that are placed around pipe ends, with the flange face expanding sufficiently to allow a weld bead to be applied on the inside diameter of the pipe.
Low-pressure fluids or fluids with little leakage risk can be handled with this method. These lines are commonly used in low-pressure compressed air lines, cooling water lines, firefighting water lines, and process lines for substances such as steam, condensates, oil & gas, etc. Steel can be recycled or virgin or a combination of the two
To form a pipework system, carbon steel forged flanges connect pipes, pumps, valves, and other equipment. In general, it is welded onto pipes or screwed onto a threaded pipe end and then connected with bolts. Bolts are attached to threaded pipe ends or welded onto pipes to make connections.
Carbon steel blind flanges do not have boring centers or hubs. With a face thickness of a flange, a matching face type, and a similar bolting pattern, it has the same characteristics as a flange. Pressure vessels use it to seal nozzle openings.

Application Uses:
Steel is extremely strong, which is why it is commonly used for support structures such as buildings, pipes, and roads. Steel does not corrode like other types of steel.
The reliability of steel makes it an excellent material for fireproofing homes, hurricane-proofing, tornado-proofing, and earthquake-proofing.
Ecologically beneficial – Other materials are more difficult to recycle than carbon steel, making them more environmentally friendly.
Due to the thinness of carbon steel pipes, they are more affordable than copper pipes. As a result, it is a more economical metal than other metals.
Carbon steel is more resistant to dents and scratches than aluminum, which is generally used in cooking ware. Since carbon steel is healthy and does not damage easily, it is useful in kitchenware.
